The Program

What it looks like to run a chapter.

One youth leadership program, delivered through three chapters and one framework, with everything a school needs to found and sustain it.

What We Offer

Everything a chapter needs, ready to run.

Found a chapter and you do not start from scratch. Here is what comes with it.

Chapter 01

The Forge

Grades 6–8

The introductory chapter. Middle schoolers meet the framework for the first time, build the habits of trust and honor, and learn to lead themselves first.

Chapter 02

The Workshop

Grades 9–12

The building chapter. High schoolers take on real responsibility, sharpen competence and discernment, and begin leading peers with the framework as their blueprint.

Chapter 03

The Field

College

The proving chapter. College students apply the framework to adult decisions and mentor the chapters behind them.

Included

The Framework Curriculum

All chapters

Meeting-by-meeting guidance built on Trust, the four pillars, Honor, and Life Skills, so faculty sponsors always know what today is building toward.

Included

Faculty Sponsor Support

All chapters

Onboarding, training, and ongoing support for the teacher or staff member who leads the chapter. You do not have to be an expert to run it well.

Included

Founding & Funding Paths

Schools & donors

Clear routes for schools to found a chapter and for donors and partners to fund one, including sponsoring a founding chapter at a school that could not otherwise afford it.

How It Works

From first call to founded chapter.

Standing up a chapter is a short, guided path, not a year of paperwork.

1

Reach Out

Tell us about your school or how you would like to give. We figure out which chapter fits and what founding it takes.

2

Name a Sponsor

Identify a faculty sponsor to lead the chapter. We handle their onboarding and training end to end.

3

Light the Forge

Launch your founding cohort. Two meetings a month, in the school day, following the framework from meeting one.

4

Build & Grow

Sustain the chapter with ongoing support, and add the next stage as your students move up.

Common Questions

Answers before you ask.

A faculty sponsor, a teacher or staff member at your school, leads each chapter, supported by our onboarding, training, and the framework curriculum. You do not need to be a leadership expert; the structure carries the load.

Two meetings a month, held during the school day. It is designed to fit an existing advisory, seminar, or flex period rather than add a new one.

No. Foundry Forward is a character education nonprofit focused on trust, character, competence, discernment, leadership, honor, and life skills, a framework schools of all kinds can adopt and defend.

Costs depend on the chapter and scope, and we work to keep them within reach. Many founding chapters are underwritten by donors and partners. Reach out and we will walk through the options.

Yes, that is the design. The Forge (grades 6 to 8), The Workshop (grades 9 to 12), and The Field (college) form one continuous path, so students grow within the same framework instead of aging out of it.

Start a leadership chapter at your school by sending us a note through the contact page. We will set up a short conversation, help you name a sponsor, and map out your founding cohort.
